ONE PERSON LIFTED BY LIFESTAR AFTER CRASH ON HIGHWAY 70 ON MONDAY
A two-vehicle head-on crash occurred at the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and Highway 70 in the Midtown corridor of Harriman around 2:30 p.m. on December 29. One person was airlifted by Lifestar to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
Not all details of the accident are available at this time, but the intersection was restricted to one lane in both directions and closed at times for investigation and cleanup. The individual flown out was a 61-year-old man; the injuries to the other vehicle’s occupants are unknown, though it is believed they sustained only minor injuries.
