OOLTEWAH HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL NAMED TENNESSEE’S 2017-18 “PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR

The Tennessee Department of Education has named Ooltewah High School principal Robin Copp as Tennessee’s 2017-18 Principal of the Year. The announcement came during an honorary banquet at the department’s LEAD Conference Monday evening. Principal Copp has been at Ooltewah High School for two years, and has served in school administration for 12 years. The Tennessee Dept. of Education says its annual Principal of the Year award serves to “recognize administrators who have helped provide educational opportunities for Tennessee students through their leadership, programs, and vision.” Copp was among nine principals selected as regional finalists after being nominated by their peers for the title. She was also named the East Grand Division winner.
