Crossville firefighters went to 250 homes yesterday and distributed lifesaving packets. Over 40 smoke alarms were installed and many more checked or are scheduled for future installs. Cumberland County Fire Department visited 157 homes in the Crab Orchard area yesterday. They also handed out fire safety materials and installed smoke alarms.
