OUTDOOR FIRE ESCAPES CONTROL ON HASLER MILL ROAD IN HARRIMAN
As much of the week has been dry, many folks are starting to burn outdoors, and you’re reminded that you must have a burn permit to do so right now.
Earlier today around 1:30, EOC and hazmat fire personnel were sent to Hasler Mill Road where an outdoor fire got out of control. After the first unit arrived on scene, others followed, and the fire was under control within about 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and no structures were damaged. High winds are expected tomorrow preceding another cold front coming through, which will bring a chance of rain and storms late Friday into Saturday.
But until then, with the winds coming in tomorrow, outdoor burning is not suggested.
