An outdoor meth lab was discovered in southern Rhea County yesterday by the Graysville Police Department and Graysville Volunteer Fire Department. Crews responded along the railroad track off of Dayton Avenue to discover a large “shake and bake” meth lab. Crews secured the area and separated the items while waiting for the Tennessee Meth Task Force to arrive. Norfolk Southern was notified of the police presence and slowed their trains down going by the scene. No suspects were named and the incident is under investigation.
