OVER $1,200 IN TOOLS STOLEN FROM STORAGE UNIT
On Nov. 5th, Deputy Shane Henderson was dispatched to A1 Storage on Peavine Road for a theft report. Upon arrival, Henderson spoke with the caller who stated that she had moved here approximately 2 years ago to take care of her grandparents.
While doing so, she rented several storage units from A1 storage and she hadn’t had a problem until now. Approximately a week ago she hired a man to move some tools and other items to the storage unit. This man had helped her several times and was the only person who knew she had the unit and what items were inside.
However, she said she was not happy with how the man had been helping her and he seemed upset when told she didn’t need his help anymore. Because of this and the man being the only other person knowing what items were in the unit, she feels he may be the person who cut the lock on her storage unit and stole the items inside.
The stolen items include a Pressure washer, 10-inch table saw, weedeater, 8-foot extended handheld chainsaw, and mortar stucco mix. Altogether, the total estimated value of stolen items is around $1,249.
Currently, no charges have been placed or warrants signed.
