OVER $2,000 WORTH OF BELONGINGS STOLEN FROM CABIN
Yesterday Deputy Leviticus Gilliam spoke with a man at John Q. Wyatt Road who said his hunting cabin was broken into and the belongings inside were stolen. The man showed the deputy the lock on the back door was torched off and the shed on the property was also entered by a key that was in the residence.
The belongings missing so far were a television, ammo, clothes, knives, tools and toolboxes, two pellet guns, and an infrared heater.
The property missing is believed to be somewhere between $2,000 to $2,500. The owner doesn’t know if anything else was taken.
The victim said that others use the cabin with him and have belongings in the residence. There were no identifiers or serial numbers on any of the stolen items.
