OVER $43,000 IN DAMAGE REPORTEDLY DONE TO CHESTNUT HILL RENTAL HOUSE
On Friday, May 17th, a Cumberland County Sheriff Deputy responded to a call at a Chestnut Hill Road address for previous tenants damaging an owner’s house.
The owner of the house stated that 3 individuals were tenants at the house on Chestnut Hill Road she rented out.
After the tenants were evicted, the owner stated that they had torn parts of the floors up, broken a bedroom window, torn down the front gutters, and destroyed the porch.
The homeowner had the damages valued by AFS and the total cost of damage was $43,494.34. This was only the damage that she knew of.
A syringe was removed and properly disposed of from the residence.
The identity of the three tenants were provided to the Sheriff’s Deputy and as the investigation continues, they could be charged with vandalism felonies.
