SCAM ALERT

It has been brought to our attention individuals are being contacted by phone by persons representing themselves as Detectives with the Overton County Sheriff’s Department asking for $ money in lieu of arrest.

Do not send $ money to anyone calling stating they are associated with the Overton County Sheriff’s Department threatening arrest.

It is not our policy nor has it ever been our policy to call individuals who have an active arrest warrant.
