PARHAM ARRESTED FOR THEFT AFTER STOLEN TRUCK RECOVERED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A Crossville man is facing a theft charge after allegedly taking a vehicle that did not belong to him. A Cumberland County deputy stopped a spray painted black GMC truck driven by 37-year-old Joshua Lynn Parham on Legion Road off of Highway 127 after the registration came back to a different vehicle. The arrest report stated the VIN plate on the driver’s side was removed but the owner of the truck said the vehicle had missing plastic pieces on the driver’s door, it had a blue interior, was a five speed and had a Chevy steering wheel. All of those descriptions matched the truck. Parham was arrested and taken to jail.

(The details of this story comes direct from the narrative of the arrest report from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department)
