(DEVELOPING STORY) – Loudon County authorities say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Lenoir City this morning. The train traveling from Rutherford, Pennsylvania to Rossville, Tennessee hit the individual just before 4 a.m. in the area of Locust Street and Maple Street. The incident is under investigation. Authorities say the incident appears to be a suicide and the victim’s name will not be released.
