Jude Rod Pennington was found guilty of second-degree murder by a jury in Cumberland County Criminal Court on Thursday.

Pennington was charged with the first-degree murder of 39-year-old Travis Allon Sinard of Crossville in November of 2019.

Pennington was found wounded in the Highway 127 area in a pickup truck, having sustained a gunshot wound in his right shoulder and leg, while Sinard was found in the front yard of a home on Colby Circle with a wound to his head.
