Roane County authorities took 34-year-old Jamie Lee Pesterfield into custody for aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping. The report states officers recently responded to a home on Farmer Road to a disturbance. Pesterfield arrived at the residence, allegedly got into a dispute with a male and pulled a knife threatening to cut the victims throat. The assailant then reportedly forced the man into a vehicle and drove him to another dwelling. A female there called law enforcement and Pesterfield fled the scene prior to their arrival. The male who sustained several injuries in the incident was taken to Roane Medical Center for treatment. After being taken into custody, Pesterfield was taken to jail and will be held pending a bond hearing.
