PHILLIPS SENTENCED FOR VIOLATION OF SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY
A sex offender is heading to prison following being sentenced in Cumberland County Criminal Court today. Officials say 56-year-old Andy Clay Phillips entered a plea of guilty to two counts of violation of the sex offender registry and received 4 years to serve on each count. The time will be done concurrently. Phillips is classified as violent against children and was ordered onto the registry after his 2002 conviction for use of a minor for obscene purposes.
