A Pickett County man is scheduled to be arraigned in Overton County Criminal Court tomorrow (Wednesday, February 19, 2020) stemming from a fatal accident that killed a man. Troopers says the crash took place last October when a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Michael Lynn Owens of Byrdstown rear-ended a 1952 antique Chevrolet operated by 71-year-old Bob Allen of Cookeville on Highway 111. Allen died at the scene. A grand jury later indicted Owens for vehicular homicide by intoxication and vehicular homicide by recklessness.
