BEWARE! Another sophisticated debit card scam is in our area.

Here’s the scam: A call is received from an individual purporting to be from the bank’s fraud department, providing accurate details about your recent transactions, address, and contact numbers. The caller requests your PIN number to deactivate the card. REMEMBER, banks DO NOT request PIN numbers over the phone. Always double-check with your bank or identity protection service before sharing any sensitive information.
