From Rockwood Electric Utility:

TVA and Rockwood Electric Utility will have a 3-hour PLANNED outage at the Kingston Substation starting at midnight on Thursday night (10/2/2025)/Friday morning (10/3/2025) for TVA to drop jumpers on the Kingston tap and perform switching to support the new Kingston CC Plant construction. Rockwood Electric will take this opportunity to perform some maintenance at the Kingston Substation. For the safety of all TVA and REU employees, the transmission line and the substation both need to be completely de-energized prior to operating the switch(s) and performing maintenance inside the station. This outage only affects customers fed from the Kingston Substation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
