Rockwood Electric Utility has postponed a planned maintenance outage in the Kingston area that was originally set to begin at midnight tonight. The decision was made due to the threat of severe weather approaching the region and the uncertainty around when the storms will reach their service territory. Prioritizing the safety of employees and the community, the utility wants to keep crews fully available to respond to any unplanned outages that may result from the incoming storms.
