A portion of Riggs Chapel Road in Harriman was closed off last night as a search was conducted for a wanted subject. The report indicates 24-year-old Joshua James Plemons ditched his car, fled on foot then jumped into a body of water. Plemons then apparently had trouble swimming and returned to shore where officers were waiting. Plemons was arrested for evading arrest, two count of violation of probation and traffic violations.
