Lenoir City High School was made aware of a reported hit list late Friday which officers say proved untrue. The school released a statement indicating their administration was made aware of a rumor regarding an alleged student hit list. The allegation was investigated by student resource officers and found to be false. The school says the safety of all students, faculty and staff is of the utmost importance and assures parents that students at Lenoir City High School are safe.
