POLICE AND MEDICS RESPOND TO DRUG OVERDOSES

CROSSVILLE POLICE ARREST MAN AT DOLLAR GENERAL STORE FOR DRUG INDUCED P.I.

Crossville police and medics responded to two drug overdoses within a 9 hour period. The first took place last night in the parking lot of the Executive Inn where a 28-year-old female was found unresponsive in a Dodge caravan. The second was around 4 a.m. this morning in the parking lot of Cumberland Medical Center involving a 28-year-old male. Officers used narcan to revive both and they were transported for treatment.

Authorities say the rate of non-fatal and fatal overdoses continues to climb in the state.

You have no financial means of obtaining services

You have no other financial means of obtaining the services available through this program

You are not enrolled in Tennessee’s Medicaid program, TennCare

You do not have any other third party health benefits pay or source

You have depleted your TennCare or other third party alcohol and drug abuse treatment benefits limit

You meet the one hundred thirty-three percent federal poverty guidelines as set by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
