Crossville police went to a shopping plaza on the corner of West Avenue and Miller Bypass late Saturday night after a driver ran his vehicle into two businesses. Officers arrived to see a Ford Explorer halfway between the walls of the companies. Police say 58-year-old Michael Allen Richards drove from Sparta Drive across the bypass and hit the building causing around $20,000 in damage. Richard was charged with DUI.
