The Crossville Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of the Dollar General store on Highway 127 North. Officers were called to the scene last night at 9:17 p.m. where two adult males wearing masks, dark pants and hoodies entered the store with a possible shotgun. The two ordered the cashier to empty the register. The two then attempted to break into the cigarette cabinet, but were unsuccessful. The robbers fled the scene on foot. There are no suspects at this time, however investigators gathered evidence at the scene.
