Crossville police released an accident report today of a two vehicle head-on crash Friday at the corner of North Main Street and Elmore Road. It states three witnesses reportedly saw 1993 Chevy pickup operated by 85-year-old Ronald R. Cranston of Crossville traveling north on Main Street when he attempted to turn onto Elmore Road just before the traffic light turned yellow. Cranston’s truck was then hit by an oncoming 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 49-year-old Allison L. Herskovitz of Crossville. Both restrained drivers were taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
