POLICE RESPOND TO CMC FOR VICTIM TREATED FOR STABBING
Crossville police went to Cumberland Medical Center Saturday for a subject being treated for injuries from a stabbing. The report states the male in his mid-50’s sustained cuts above the eyebrow and on the top of his head. He claimed four suspects he previously had an encounter with on a previous date jumped him in a parking lot of a convenience store on Peavine Road. When authorities reviewed the surveillance footage at the business, they did not see any altercation involving the victim. At this time, it is not known exactly where the assault took place and the male attacked was not being forthcoming with information.
