Authorities say that gunfire interrupted this past weekend’s celebration of Tennessee State University’s homecoming game. The incident began at an Exxon Station beside Nissan Stadium when a fight broke out between two people which eventually involved shots being fired. Two firearms, a pistol and an assault rifle were recovered in the fracas. No one was injured, however nine vehicles were damaged and several people had to duck and hide in the area. Terron London was arrested on a gun charge, and the investigation is ongoing. Police say that London was seen with a rifle and another person is being sought in connection to the incident. Shots were also allegedly fired earlier the same day during the TSU Homecoming Parade near Jefferson Street.
