POPULAR BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION RECALLED
The Federal Drug Administration has issued a voluntary recall on Losartan, a widely used blood pressure medication.
The company says there are trace amounts of a possible cancer-causing chemical in some pills.
Those are 100 mg/25 mg tablets from one lot number and were not distributed before Oct. 8.
Patients taking this are urged to speak to their doctors before stopping use. Consumers can reach out to the company at 1-800-525-8747.
