POSSIBLE STALKER CONCERNS TWO FEMALE EMPLOYEES OF CROSSVILLE BUSINESS

At approximately 9:30 pm, Monday, May 6th Officer Sherrill of the Crossville Police Department, was dispatched to Dominion Senior Living on Woodlawn Rd. in reference to a possible stalking incident.

When he arrived on scene,  he spoke with an employee who advised him that at approximately 9 pm, while she was leaving Planet Fitness, a silver 4-door sedan with black handles (possibly a Honda Civic), turned around in the parking lot and began following her vehicle as she drove to Dominion. She stated that after she turned onto Old Jamestown Rd., the vehicle was following her so closely that she was unable to see the headlights. After turning into the parking lot of Dominion, she parked under the awning by the front doors where a male co-working was waiting. She stated that the vehicle drove past the first entrance and came in the east entrance before slowly rolling past her even with other employees outside with her before leaving.  She stated that the driver appeared to be a white male and that there was possibly a passenger in the front seat but that she could not get a good look at them. She advised the officer that she had not spoken to anyone from the vehicle nor had there been any type of road rage incident prior to their following her.

Another female employee of Dominion advised Officer Sherrill that shortly after this incident, at an unknown time, she drove past Dominion on her way to get coffee from Circle K.  She stated that once she reached the area of Vegas and Old Jamestown Highway, she noticed that a vehicle was following her very closely. She stated that the vehicle followed her so closely that she could not see its headlights and that it did not stop following her until she turned on her blinker in the area of Executive Inn to warn them that she would be turning into Circle K.  The vehicle then turned into Peacock Gas Station and she noted that it matched the description given by the other employee.

Officer Sherrill advised the employees to keep an eye out for the vehicle and for any employees who might be alone outside in the parking lot.  An extra patrol was set up for the business because of this incident.
