POWER LINES BROUGHT DOWN BY DUMP TRUCK ON HIGHWAY 70 NORTH IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A dump truck brought down power lines Saturday night on Highway 70 North near Miller Court in Cumberland County

The report released today by the Tennessee Highway Patrol states the 2007 Sterling truck operated by 28-year-old Justin P. Miller was traveling west when he unintentionally had the dump bed raised.

The top of the bed struck utility lines over the road.

The truck came to rest in the roadway.

Miller was not hurt in the accident.

Power was knocked out to numerous homes in the area for a while.
