The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department will be participating with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the “National Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative”. The sheriff’s office is helping citizens to property dispose of unused and expired medication. This keeps medicine out of the hands of someone who might abuse them while protecting the environment. It also helps decrease crime in the community and it’s the sheriff’s departments belief this event will also help save lives.

It will be held at the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, located at 90 Justice Center Drive in Crossville (across from Cumberland Medical Center) on April 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. central time.
