PROPOSED CROSSVILLE INDOOR RECREATIONAL CENTER CLOSER TO REALITY
The Crossville City Council met in a special called session Tuesday to discuss the purchase of property for the future indoor recreational facility. One of the obstacles is how to handle a countertop and tile company on the property that is currently in business. The Council voted to allow the business to remain at the location for the next year rent-free so the company can have time to see relocation.
The 80,000 plus square foot recreational facility would feature an indoor pool, several sports courts, walking tracks, pickleball court and cardio workout area to mention a few. The closing date on the property for the rec center on Main Street and Livingston road is January 7th. Groundbreaking is expected by December 2022
