Will the City of Allardt in Fentress County have another great pumpkin? Everyone will find out this Saturday (October 7, 2017) during the 26^th Annual Allardt Pumpkin Festival. Last year Jason Perry from Oneida took top honors at the festival with a pumpkin weighing 1,472 pounds. That particular pumpkin set a state record that still is in place this day. Officials would like to see the world record weight of 2,624 pounds broken in Allardt. The person having the biggest and heaviest pumpkin this Saturday in Allardt will get $1,000 in the contest.
