PUTNAM COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS SAVE CLASSIC CAR FROM DITTY ROAD GARAGE FIRE

Putnam County, TN – At approximately 2:15 P.M. yesterday afternoon, Putnam Fire and Baxter Fire responded to a reported garage fire on Ditty Road.
Upon arrival, crews found a 20’x30’ garage type structure, well involved with fire. A quick and aggressive attack was made, ultimately resulting in a 1957 Chevrolet being saved from the flames.
The structure sustained major damage, but no injuries were reported.
