Authorities say slick roads caused a Putnam County school bus to slide sideways in Monterey late yesterday near Potters Home Center and Highway 62. The bus did not have any students onboard at the time. No injuries occurred to the bus driver. Several school systems, including Putnam and Cumberland counties, canceled school for today because of black ice on roads and bitter cold temperatures.
