QUARRY CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AFTER INCIDENT IN CROSSVILLE

A vehicle accident in the parking lot of Kroger in Crossville yesterday ended with an altercation and an arrest. The report states 47-year-old James Lee Quarry of Crossville got out of his vehicle and started cussing at a female in the other car involved in the accident. The husband of the female responded which resulted in Quarry allegedly pulling a knife on him. Quarry later told police he handed the knife to a female subject in the vehicle he was in. Quarry claimed he never opened the knife when the encounter took place and added he did not know if he was supposed to have a knife on him because he was on state probation. Quarry was charged with aggravated assault.
