The rain gauges have reported in here is what the remains of hurricane Ida left us with. The most reported was 6.79 in Polk County down in southeast Tennessee. Farragut recorded 6 inches in Knox County and 5 reported near Oak Ridge. 3 to 4 inches were common across East Tennessee and the Plateau. Highest totals in Cumberland County were from Fairfield Glade down to the Homestead and Grassy Cove areas. We will enjoy Sunshine for Thursday and Friday with highs from the upper 70s to low 80s but the nights will drop into the mid-to-upper 50s. A 50% chance of showers will return to our forecast on Sunday.
