RANCH SEASONING SOLD AT WALMART RECALLED FOR SALMONELLA CONTAMINATION

Blackstone Products of Providence, Utah, is voluntarily recalling specific lots of its 7.3 oz Parmesan Ranch seasoning due to the potential for Salmonella contamination. The issue stems from a recalled batch of dry milk powder supplied by California Dairies, Inc., which was used by a third-party manufacturer in the seasoning. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Salmonella can cause serious or even fatal infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, frail individuals, or those with weakened immune systems. Healthy people typically experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, the infection can spread to the bloodstream and lead to more severe conditions such as arterial infections, endocarditis, or arthritis.

The recall affects only the following lots sold nationwide at Walmart stores and on the Blackstone Products website:

– Blackstone Parmesan Ranch 7.3 oz (Lot #4106) – Best by 07/02/2027 (2025-43282)
– Blackstone Parmesan Ranch 7.3 oz (Lot #4106) – Best by 08/05/2027 (2025-46172)
– Blackstone Parmesan Ranch 7.3 oz (Lot #4106) – Best by 08/12/2027 (2026-54751)

Lot codes and best-by dates appear on the bottom of the package. Customers should immediately dispose of any affected product and not consume it. Those seeking a replacement or more information can contact Blackstone Products at 1-888-879-4610 (8 AM–5 PM EST, Monday–Friday).
