TWO VEHICLES COLLIDE AT OLD JAMESTOWN HIGHWAY INTERSECTION IN CROSSVILLE

On May 15, 2026, at approximately 3:45 PM in Crossville, Tennessee (Cumberland County), a two-vehicle angle collision occurred at the intersection of Old Jamestown Highway and Interstate Drive. Crossville Police Department responded to the scene.

Vehicle 1, a 2009 Honda CRV driven by Kirtis Slade Pinell of Monterey, TN, was stopped on Old Jamestown Highway preparing to turn left onto Interstate Drive. After the driver reported checking both directions, the vehicle turned left and was struck by Vehicle 2, a 2026 Volvo CX90 traveling eastbound on Interstate Drive. The driver of Vehicle 2 was Anni Marie Hoffdate, age 35, from Fishers, Indiana.

Injuries were minor overall: The driver of Vehicle 1 (Pinell) reported no injury. The front-seat passenger in Vehicle 1, Tyler Jordan Archer of Monterey, sustained possible injury but was not transported. The driver of Vehicle 2 (Hoffdate) sustained possible injury and was transported by Cumberland County EMS to Cumberland County Medical Center. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, appeared normal, and were not distracted, impaired, or cited for violations. No alcohol or drug tests were administered.

Vehicle 1 received damage to the left rear side, while Vehicle 2 sustained front-end disabling damage.

Both vehicles were towed.
