Law enforcement in Cumberland County rushed to the scene of a burglary in progress late Saturday in the area of the 18,000 block of Highway 70 East. The homeowner reportedly found 29-year-old Brittany Latasha Rodgers of Baxter and 32-year-old Kristina Marie Rasor of Cookeville in his garage. The two fled the scene but later returned to try to retrieve their vehicle reported stolen in Putnam County. They supposedly chose the victims residence after seeing it online and it was the favorite color of one of the suspects. Rasor and Rodgers were each arrested for burglary, vehicle theft and vandalism.
