REAR END COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 70 NORTH ON WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday, Nov. 27th, a 2005 Dodge Dakota Driven by Theodore Hodge with a passenger and a 2023 Ford F350 were traveling west on Highway 70 North, west from Miller Court.
The F350 slowed to make a right-hand turn into a driveway when Hodge’s Dakota struck the rear, causing it to leave the roadway and come to rest in the driveway. Hodge’s Dakota came to rest in the middle of the roadway.
Of the four people involved in the collision, two, including Hodge, sustained injuries. The Tennessee Highway Patrol charged Hodge with Failure to exercise due care, lack of a seatbelt, and lack of insurance.
