Even though the pandemic is hitting a plateau across the nation
and Tennessee with numbers down some 55% from 3 weeks ago.
Covid-19 case counts in Anderson, Campbell, Roane, Cumberland and
Morgan counties are still a bit higher than what health departments would like.
Roane County Health director Laura Connor sent us the latest figures from
Monday’s count in our service area

Roane County 1334 Active cases are reported with 208 deaths

Active cases in Anderson County is 1947 with 297 deaths related to covid-
19.

In Campbell County 1045 Active cases still remain with 139 deaths .

Morgan County 608 Active cases 72 have died in that county due to covid-
19 .

Cumberland county is reporting 1211 Active cases with 294 deaths

Case count seems high but most are reported to be minor.
The death rate has dropped substantially across the State.
