“ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ROANE COUNTY” IN TWO DAYS, MARCH 9TH AND 10TH

The Roane Chamber is excited to announce a
new program under the Leadership Roane County umbrella called Roane
County Engage . Want to learn more about Roane County? Want to know
what there is to do here and learn about volunteer opportunities to get more
engaged with the community? The new leadership program was
created and designed for anyone who is interested in learning a little bit of
everything about Roane County in two days on March 9 – 10.
Participants will load up on the bus the morning of Wednesday, March 9 and
spend time in Kingston and at the old K- 25 site in Oak Ridge . On
Thursday, March 10 participants will again take a bus to Oliver Springs,
Harriman n and Rockwood. Some of the stops will include Roane County
’ s Courthouse (new and historic ) , Fort Southwest Point, Roane County
Schools, K- 25 History Center, Oliver Springs Historic Society Theater &
Museum, Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Princess Theater,
Roane county’s 911 Center and the Rockwood Event Center.
