A judge declared a group of homeowners on Renegade Mountain as the legitimate board of directors for that community. The decision resolves a dispute between two boards (the current one and the Moy Toy board) regarding property disputes.

The current board of directors is made up of:

Directors: Thomas Bauer, Gary Haiser, and John Peters

Officers:

President – John Moore

Vice President – (open seat as of now)

Secretary – Melody Depew

Treasurer – Paul Loud (who replaces Gerald Nugent)

The Board of Directors has met to begin the planning process and road repairs have already begun with much needed patching.

The following meetings were set by the board:

Scheduled Quarterly Board of Director Meeting: Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Tommy Bauer’s residence on Renegade Mountain Parkway (near water tower) beginning at 6 p.m. central.  Masks are encouraged but not required and social distancing will not be possible. The meeting is open to all residents and owners for the first 15 minutes to ask questions and make comments, after which the meeting will begin, RMCC members in good standing may remain to observe the meeting without interrupting.

Informal Organizational Planning Meeting: Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Crab Orchard City Hall on Hebbetsburg Road at 1 p.m. central. Masks are encouraged but not required and social distancing will be handled as best as possible. The board will brief all attendees on the progress, problems and future of the RMCC. Please plan on attending to hear and participate in this discussion and to give the board your input on what to do, what’s important, and where you think the RMCC should be headed. A social gathering will be held after the meeting is concluded (3 p.m. central) for all who want to attend.  Please bring a dish or two to pass around.  Silverware, plates, etc. and soda/water will be provided.

RMCC ANNUAL MEETING: Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Crab Orchard City Hall on Hebbetsburg Road beginning at 1 p.m. central.  Masks are encouraged but not required and social distancing will be handled as best as possible.
