Repairs to a section of Highway 68 between Grandview and Spring City in Rhea County are taking longer than expected. TDOT officials says the plan was to re-open the road last week. But, now they’ve moved it to the end of this month. The road was closed in April after a section washed away after days of heavy rain. Crews say because they opened one lane to drivers, they have to work around traffic, which has put them behind schedule. (picture in story was taken a day after the section of the road gave way)
