REPORT: DUI DRIVER ARRESTED IN CROSSVILLE AFTER NEARLY STRIKING MOTORISTS HEAD ON
A Crossville police officer pulled over a driver near Genesis Road and Main Street after a citizen reportedly the suspect’s vehicle all over the road and nearly struck motorists head-on.
The arrest report states the officer smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the driver, 59-year-old Gary Allen Phillips of Lake Tansi.
A field sobriety test was administered to Phillips, which he reportedly failed.
A check revealed Phillips was operating his vehicle on a revoked license from previous DUI convictions.
Phillips was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license.
