REPORT RELEASED OF PEDESTRIAN VS. VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN CROSSVILLE
The Crossville Police Department this morning released a report of a pedestrian versus a vehicle accident yesterday. It states 68-year-old Carol Sybert of Cameron, Missouri was walking across Main Street with a red light stopping traffic north and southbound on the highway at 4th Street. A 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 64-year-old Debra A. Duffy of Crossville turned left at the intersection onto Main Street and did not originally see Sybert. Duffy attempted to avoid her but struck Sybert with the side of the vehicle. Sybert was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This makes the 7th pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Cumberland County so far this year.
