A reported dispute over $60 landed a Cumberland County man in jail this week after a firearm was reportedly discharged. Deputies went to a home on Spring Water Circle where the report states 54-year-old Michael Robert Scarbro of Crossville allegedly pointed a shotgun at another man in a truck. The victim was trying to leave when Scarbro supposedly discharged the firearm striking the radiator of the truck. When questioned, Scarbro claimed he had not seen the victim that day. Officers seized potential evidence at the scene and charged Scarbro with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and vandalism.
