RESCUE CREWS HELP DRIVER AFTER VEHICLE GOES OFF THE SIDE OF SIGNAL MOUNTAIN
Around 3 p.m. today, emergency crews rescued a driver who went off the side of Signal Mountain on W Road.
Waldens Ridge Emergency Service (WRES) says the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene first. Deputies reported the vehicle landed about 70 feet down the side of the mountain.
The WRES Rope Rescue Team made their way to the driver and rescued them.
Authorities did not initially say if the driver was hurt in the crash.
