Two in Cumberland County received honors at the 2023 Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards.

Jason Sitton, the adult recipient, was honored for the We Are One event in Cumberland County. It provided groceries, clothing, and many other services to individuals in the county and surrounding area.

Lexi Christian, the youth recipient, established Little Free Libraries in Cumberland County intending to have five total sites by the end of her senior year of high school.
