RESCUE CREWS RESPOND AFTER FALL CREEK FALLS PARK EMPLOYEE DESCENDS OFF CLIFF

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department, Sequatchie County authorities and rescue crews responded late yesterday after a park employee at Fall Creek Falls went over an edge of a cliff. Initial reports indicate the victim fell approximately 200 feet. Rope teams worked into last night to retrieve the 55-year-old male. His name is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. More information will be released at a later time.
